SCOTTISH PACIFIC
SPONSORS CHARTERED
ACCOUNTANTS

Scottish Pacific Business Finance has renewed its sponsorship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, with a focus on supporting continuing education events for accountants.

"We have chosen to support the institute's continuing education programs because they offer major benefits, not just to the accounting profession but also to the wider business community," said Scottish Pacific Business Finance managing director, Clive Isenberg.

"We believe the institute's continuing education program has particular benefits in the SME sector where many businesses rely on chartered accountants as their primary source of financial and business advice," Mr Isenberg said.

"These are our clients too, so the sponsorship ultimately benefits our organisation and our client base," he said.

The sponsorship will support events such as PD Week in NSW and Western Australia, the NSW Small and Sole Practices Conferences, the Queensland Small Practices Conference, and the Victoria and South Australia tax update series.

"We believe the tax updates are more vital than ever this year, given the current focus on tax reform," said Mr Isenberg.

"Any significant tax reform will have major implications for our clients in the SME sector and they will be looking to their accountants for sound advice to help them understand and manage the changes so it is vital that they are well-informed," he said.

Scottish Pacific Business Finance has been the institute's major sponsor since 1996.
