Our involvement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants continued during May and June with a range of professional development conferences around Australia.
These events included NSW Professional Development Week, the Small and Sole Practices conferences in NSW and Victoria, PD Week in NSW and tax updates in Victoria and South Australia.
Besides providing financial support for these events through our sponsorship,
we were also able to add value by arranging New Zealand GST expert, Willy
Sussman, to speak on goods and services taxes.
Willy Sussman is the GST partner at Bell Gully Buddle Weir, New Zealand’s largest law firm, and has been advising Scottish Pacific Business Finance in New Zealand for many years.

During June, Willy Sussman returned to Sydney to present two addresses at the Institute’s Small and Solo Practices conferences and visited Perth for WA Professional Development Week.
Meanwhile, we were also actively involved in the Victorian Small and Sole Practices Conference at Geelong, both as an exhibitor and sponsor of the highly successful golf day.
