SURFING THE NET AND THE WAVES

Fremantle-based wet suit manufacturer, Bob Lushey, is a keen user of Open Account.

“I’m not a computer nerd but a few years ago, I decided I had to embrace computers for what they could do for my business and Open Account is a great example of what they can do,” said Bob.

“I use Open Account all the time and it’s extremely handy to be able to check who’s dragging their feet on old accounts or if Scottish Pacific is holding money for us.

“The handiest part of all is that if you’re sitting there on the weekend and wondering if you’re due for some money or has a particular account been paid, you can jump on the computer and get a report.

Bob’s business, Sirocco, manufactures and markets wet suits that are sought after by serious surfers and divers across Australia and New Zealand.  That’s partly because of their fitting system which accommodates all shapes and sizes and because the company has exclusive Australian and New Zealand rights to a new wet suit fabric which is just 0.5 mm thick. Sold under the Radiator brand, it is incredibly light and flexible but very warm because it incorporates four layers.
