CashFlow Through the Internet

Our cashflow finance clients have responded enthusiastically to the launch of our Open Account
service which allows them direct access to our accounts receivable system at no additional cost.

The Open Account service allows clients to monitor their customer payments and cashflow on a
minute-by-minute basis, instead of waiting for daily, weekly or monthly reports.

“Instant access to cashflow information is vital for anyone running a small business because
many decisions are based upon it and Open Account allows them to keep their finger on the pulse
no matter where they are,” said Ian Rees,  Director of Information Technology.

The sophistication and power of our computer system has always been the key to our efficiency
and service in debtor management but now were giving our small business clients direct access
to the benefits of that computer power”, said Ian.

Scottish Pacific Business Finance is one of the first cashflow finance companies to offer clients
such a high level of transparency via the internet.

Open Account can be accessed via our web site (www.spbf.com.au) and the only equipment
required at the client's end is a computer and a modem connection.

“We appreciate that some of our clients may not yet be using the internet for business
transactions but soon it will be a fact of life,” said Ian Rees.

“Remember when fax machines first became available? Initially, they were so expensive that
only multinationals could afford them. Today, even the smallest business has a fax machine and
it would be impossible to run a business without one.

“In just a few years, the internet will become a primary communication avenue for business,”
said Ian.

One of the benefits of Open Account is convenience. For example, a small business client who
ends up taking the account home at the end of the day can log into our Open Account system
from home at any time of the day or night – for the cost of a local call.

If they're interstate on business or overseas, they can also dial in via the internet for the cost of a local call.
